Before starting this , ask to yourself from how many days you’re promising  to yourself  that  …. Tomorrow I’ll study regularly and then forget the promise in two days ?

I’ll do this everytime and everytime I thought that I’ll do it next time .

We know that we planned a lot of things , we started as well but failed as implementing the plan on after 3 and 4 days or even started out . In frustration or procrastination we delayed that work & ended up as depressed and stuck . from the very long time I’m repeating this and try to find out the problem.

The problem is the lack of consistency ….. yes you heared it right  “ Consistency

Now , let’s understand through tis blog about consistency and how can we achieve it

  • What is consistency ?
  • How to become more consistent ?
  • How can we practice consistency ?
  • why consistency matters more than motivation

What is consistency ?

Consistency in simple words means doing something regularly in the same way without giving up . for example , If you daily study for the exams instead of only one day , that is consistency .

Consistency is just like the choosing  a destination before starting a journey . sometime we assume that we can get success overnight but no for success with hardwork we have to be consistent towards our  work and goal

How can we become more consistent ?

1. Set Realistic goals

Don’t overpromise to yourself . don’t give burden to ourselves because if you make goals that are too big you’ll break them easily.“Set realistic goals” means choosing goals that you can actually achieve based on your time, ability, and current situation. It means not making your goals too big or too hard in the beginning, but choosing something practical and possible for you.

    2. Don’t wait for Motivation

Sometime we just depend on our mood , when we feel motivated then only we try to complete our goals . “Don’t wait for motivation” means don’t sit and wait for the perfect mood, energy, or excitement to start your work. Motivation doesn’t come every day, so if you keep waiting for it, you will delay your progress.

      3. Make a routine

We all are not consisent because we did not sit on the table to do the work , if we make a proper routine or timetable then we can save our time .

        • Remember your ‘Why ?
        • Always ask to yourself that why you started ? or Why do I want to be consistent ?
        • It can be exams ,fitness or personal growth . when you remember your why it became easier to be consistent .

        4. Plan your day

“Plan your day” means deciding in advance how you will spend your time throughout the day. It’s about making a small schedule so you know what to do first, what to do later, and how much time you will give to each task. planning your day in advance is really a good method to stay consistent because as we already plan our day so we will not waste our time in planning .

        5. Reward yourself

“Reward yourself” means giving yourself something nice after you finish a task or achieve a goal. It’s a way of appreciating your own hard work so that you feel happy and motivated to keep going.if we do this so it’ll help us to stay motivated and happy at the same time . when we do this so it remind us how far we come along in our journey .

What’s the difference between Motivation and consistency

Motivation is the feeling inside you that pushes you to start doing something. It’s the excitement or energy that makes you think, “Yes, I can do this!” Sometimes you get motivated after watching an inspiring video, listening to a success story, or thinking about your goals and dreams. This feeling gives you a strong push to begin studying, working out, or improving yourself.

Consistency means doing something regularly, again and again, even when you don’t feel like doing it. It is the habit of showing up every day and giving your best, whether your mood is good or bad. Unlike motivation, which is a temporary feeling, consistency is a steady action. It doesn’t depend on excitement — it depends on commitment.

Difference :- Motivation is the feeling that gives you the excitement to start something, but it doesn’t last every day, while consistency is the habit of doing your work regularly, even when you don’t feel motivated. Motivation depends on your mood, but consistency depends on discipline and commitment. For example, you might feel motivated one day and study for two hours, but if you don’t feel the same the next day, you may skip studying. However, if you are consistent and study just 30 minutes every day, you will make more progress in the long run.

EXAMPLE :- Imagine you want to get fit. One day you watch a fitness video and feel very motivated, so you exercise for 1 hour. But the next day you don’t feel motivated, so you skip your workout. This is motivation — it comes and goes.
Now imagine another person who exercises only 20 minutes every day, even when they are tired or not in the mood. This is consistency — small daily effort. After one month, the consistent person will see better results than the motivated-but-irregular person.
